My name is Tony Furlong. I am a self taught artist who draws inspiration from my East Coast upbringing; as well as 20 years in The Canadian Armed Forces, photos and my imagination. Oil is the medium from which I attain a desired detail and depth. I try to add a bit of humour in my art through my titles. My art has evolved over the years from the young boy who used to sketch and do paint by numbers, to the artist whose depiction of birch trees, landscape and nautical seascapes warrant attention. I hope I capture yours.
